BTBoats Ltd is a New Zealand registered company created in 2009 by Lapo Ancillotti and Francesco Piva with the express purpose of developing the KIWI40FC production Class40 yacht.

Inspired by the rapid growth of Class40 and the desire to create and offer the very best alternative to the marketplace, BTBoats Ltd has driven the design/build concepts for what is destined to become an iconic yacht.

BTBoats Ltd chose, from the outset, to collaborate with the world's premier designers, Farr Yacht Design, and builders, Cookson Boats, and have co-ordinated each phase of the design and planning processes for the KIWI40FC.

BTBoats Ltd will also be responsible for the worldwide marketing and sales of the KIWI40FC.

The Directors of BTBoats Ltd have extensive experience in race yacht ownership and project management. The KIWI40FC is offered as a production-based platform but BTBoats Ltd fully recognise the individual needs of individual owners.

Owner's requirements for systems and layouts vary greatly, dependent on the purpose for the yacht. Racing a KIWI40FC double-handed around the World demands a different systems philosophy to racing one in coastal events. BTBoats Ltd will work closely with each owner to ensure that they get the KIWI40FC which they want and need, providing an owner-driven tailored service.
